Car Dealership Cleaning Checklist

A cleaning scope for a car or auto dealership, from the showroom to the service drive.

How to use it

  • Cross out what you don't need and add anything special to your building.
  • Attach it to your janitorial RFP, and give every company the same copy so the proposals price the same work.
  • Walk through the building with each company using it, and keep it as the scope in the contract.

Usually not included

Price these separately if you need them:

  • Vehicle washing and detailing
  • Lot sweeping, usually a separate company
  • Oil and fluid spills that need hazardous waste handling

Worth knowing

  • The showroom has to be spotless before opening, so agree a finish time well before the doors open.
  • Ask about experience with your floor: polished concrete, porcelain tile or vinyl each need different products.
