Church Cleaning Checklist
A cleaning scope for a church, planned around services and events, room by room.
How to use it
- Cross out what you don't need and add anything special to your building.
- Attach it to your janitorial RFP, and give every company the same copy so the proposals price the same work.
- Walk through the building with each company using it, and keep it as the scope in the contract.

- Outside grounds and parking lots
Worth knowing
- Most churches are cleaned once or twice a week, with the main clean on Friday or Saturday so the building is ready for Sunday.
- If children's ministry rules require background checks for anyone in the building, ask the company for proof for every crew member.
